Abstinence makes the heart grow founder for real love, not sex
The Australian ^ | 14/07/08 | Caroline Overington

"We were told, 'You will get older and you will become sexually active. That is the way it happens, and when it does, wear a condom. That is the only important thing'."

The Australian had a full page spread about abstinence. My niece was featured. Great to hear about her commitment. Home schooled and Catholic!

It's worth following the link to read about such a wonderful young woman.

The World Youth Day is getting so much publicity as is the Pope and articals on faith such as this!

"Put it this way: people should always, always be forgiven for their past."

Resentment is like a glass of poison that a man drinks; then he sits down and waits for his enemy to die.

She is. She was on Good Morning Australia today and was terrific. The interviewer got a bit flumoxed at how thoughtful and well spoken she is.

The World Youth Day is really holding a mirror up to Australia’s youth and is really getting some traction in the media.

Seeing all this wonderful young people dancing and singing in celebration is a giving me hope.

My oldest daughter just graduated from homeschool and will start community college in August. With five younger brothers, she has no use for boyfriends :-). Your niece sounds like she’s more polished and subtle!
