Hypothetical. If, knowing everything you know today, could go back in time to Jesus' walk to Golgotha, would you throw yourself between Him and His tormentors during the scourging? Would you do your utmost to protect the Lord, unless commanded not to?
Knowing EVERYTHING I know now? Knowing that my Lord's suffering is part of His plan to save my soul, that by His stripes I am healed? Having heard him tell Peter to put away his sword and assure the disciples that he could at any time call upon more than twelve legions of angels if He desired? Having, therefore, heard him already command me not to ignorantly interfere?
