Since Valican II —especially—we have been plagued with the opinions of self-important theologicans and biblical scholars who claim authority to redefine the faith, and show their contempt for tradition. The ordinary Catholic is confused because he thinks these blowhards actually have standing. They don’t understand these guys are freebooters.
