My wonderful husband (Ron) is in his last week of his fourth tour in Iraq with the USAF (he's a pilot with a special ops unit.) For some reason, I've just been very anxious / sleepless the last few nights worrying about his safety ... he is scheduled to come home in a week, by the way.
* Please pray for his continued safety, for successful missions, and for his timely and hassle-free "out processing" * Please pray for his travel home, including connections and layovers. (He should be on military transport until he reaches the US East Coast, then catches commercial flights home to California.) * Please pray for my peace of mind, anxiety and worry. (I am prone to panic attacks)
And can I say that my wonderful DH is a strong man of God who is in his 25th year of military service? And that I am soooo looking forward to his homecoming?
MOLLY IN CALIFORNIA
God bless Ron. God bless you, Molly, and God Bless and protect America.
Prayers for inner peace, and protection for both of you...
God Bless!
Hugs and prayers for you and your hubby, Molly. Hang in there and keep the faith! :)
You have my deep sympathy. Uncertainty, is the most distressing of circumstances.
My son was told he was being sent to Iraq the same week in June 2005 that my husband died. Then for months they vacillated between deployment to Iraq or Afghanistan. Finally in Jan. ‘06 they sent him to Afghanistan, which at the time I considered the safer of the two destinations. Actually, it is beginning to look like Iraq is safer now.
Eat well, take vitamins, get exercise and hopefully you will sleep better. If all else fails, turn on your saddest music and have a good, long cry. That helps, I know.
Prayers
My wife says the last week is indeed difficult, and we will be praying for His Safety, and the Lord to speak His Peace to your Spirit. And for the adjustments on His return.
Prayers to you all.
You who keep with tender might The balanced birds in all their flight, Lord of the tempered winds, be near, That, having you, they know no fear.
Control their minds with instinct fit Whene'er adventuring, they quit Firm security of land; Grant steadfast eye and skillful hand.
Aloft in solitudes of space, Uphold them with your saving grace. Oh, God, protect the ones who fly Through lonely ways beneath the sky. Amen.

Prayers for you and for your husband!
our pleasure.
Molly, Prayers for you, Ron & your family. May God protect him & guide him safely home.
Prayers for your husband’s safe return home. And a huge thank you for his service. My son-in-law is doing his training right now and deploys at the end of August to Iraq, his first. My daughter (and l’il 2 yr. old son) is hanging in there for him!
Your continued prayers are appreciated.
My DH called, briefly, to report that he has injured one of his knees (sprained/strained) ... so please keep that in prayer since I can’t imagine those long plane rides home. He is “toughing it out” since he’d rather be treated at home than over there, anywhere.
MOLLY
I lift your husband up in prayer to God. May you be reunited with your beloved soon!
Molly we are honored to pray for him.... and all others serving. May God guide him home safely.....
Please tell him “thank you” from a family in total support of him and all who serve. That includes all of the families that await their loved ones safe return.
