I’ve heard so many of the pre-programmed RCC talking points that it’s boring to see them time and time again.
If you quote Scripture (such as 2 Tim. 2:15) then you're supporting your opinion, but if wagglebee or another Catholic quotes Scripture (including a large block of St. Matthew's Gospel) in a manner that you disagree with it's a "pre-programmed RCC talking point"?
How is that intellectually honest?
I have no problem saying that all Christians should be students of the Word, but when we're drawing contradictory conclusions, that means somebody's interpretation is wrong. I'll stick to the Pillar and Foundation of Truth.
So do you think that conformity of belief is somehow wrong? I seem to remember Jesus saying that we would all be one...but maybe you read that differently.
