It's amazing to me that it's perfectly inoffensive on FR to criticize the hypocrisy of Blacks and Jews who see "bigotry" as coming only from whites and chr*stians but to point out that the American Catholic attitude towards Fundamentalist Protestants (the core constituency of American conservatism) is exactly the same is somehow "offensive." But no matter. It remains true, whoever doesn't like to be reminded of it.
