I think on the PCUSA website she even said something to the effect of “it probably won’t get passed for another XX years”, but lets give the church a chance to vote on it anyway. (As they did back in 2004 and 2000 I think!)

Oh - and not only to vote on it, but to argue, fight, distress, divide,.... all in the name of “unity”.
