How can we be assured of our own salvation if St. Paul wasn’t (1 Corinthians 9:27)?
1 John 5:13 - These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.
Also Romans 10:09 -for, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
Just because you don't understand what Paul wrote doesn't mean he loses his salvation...
If there was one thing Paul was sure of, it was his guarantee of a spot in heaven...
The verse says nothing about losing salvation...The verse speaks of losing credibility in the eyes of those he was leading to Jesus Christ...
Jesus would not 'cast away' Paul, but Paul's followers might...
