Very good food for thought. Especially about the deeds that bring joy to the Lord’s heart. It’s not the greatness of the deeds, but the love with which they are done.
Reads as though some spiritual experience occurred, but then again even Satan can appear as an angel of light.
IMHO, I’ve found that such experiences might or might not be Divine in source, but may be used from the perspective of placing faith through Christ and everything He has provided us to better understand His Plan.
There do exist doctrines of cessation which allude to the significance of His Word having been already provided to us in Scripture. When doubt of a spiritual experience arises, keep it simple. Place it in His hands and let Him handle the situation by remaining faithful through Christ in all things.
This is why study of Bible doctrine is so important. We might find ourselves in a situation where we don;t have a Bible handy, yet the race is there for us to score through faith in Him for yet another crown. That only happens by the inculcation of Bible doctrine through our thinking processes, so that whatever perception we might face, He has provided a problem solving device to face every predicament.
IMHO, some care might be taken in reading the story and then placing faith in that testimony without first placing faith through Christ and what that means. Many phrases and descriptions in the testimony smack of New Age religious trappings, while missing more robust forms of faith available in Scripture and rigorous Bible doctrinal studies.
