Its difficult to have deep discussions of theological topics once the anti-Catholics show up. Their... input - such as it is - tends to keep the discussions trivial and shallow. As well, the vain repetitions of anti-Catholic mantras make it difficult to move through threads, as often, one must scroll through many screenfuls of sewage before finding the lone, occasional nugget of worthwhile posting. I agree.

The topics and level of detail of the Catechism will not get the attention they deserve if we have to deal with cartoons and people who think they've "witnessed" when all they've done is contradict. Good points. A thread full of posts that look that they were written by a loopy teenage girl and the usual anti dreck is not an appropriate environment to have an adult discussion on the Catechism.

There’s a good reason that FR zots some people.
There are protestants here (not all) who, when posting on a Catholic thread, are the functional equivalents of hard-left liberals posting on politics.
