Some interesting points, including an attempt to refute common views of “day or hour” quotes from Scripture.

I am not convinced, and I am not pre-trib so 7 years deal has no meaning for me.

But, who knows. It seems like we have been waiting for the second coming for forever. In God’s timing, barely a day has passed......it could still be 10,000 years from now.

No, in God's time, two days have passed and we're into the third day...Or if you count from Genesis 1, we are just into the 7th day...The day of REST...

And how long is a day to God??? One day is 1000 years...A MILLENIUM...

This is true, and I would not give too much weight to this guy's claims, interesting as they are. But to the last point I have to offer some slight disagreement; I believe the tribulation will affect every human, and in order for that to be so, every human must still call earth their long-term home.

Temporary visits to other worlds for exploration are one thing; the astronaut still comes home at the end of the mission, but I believe the second coming must happen before humans can be born, live, and die on another world without ever coming to earth. For that reason, I think it will happen sooner rather than later. That doesn't even necessarily mean our lifetime or even our children's lifetime, but I wouldn't be surprised for it to mean our grandchildren or great-granchildren's lifetime at least. And because this would be an upper-limit, it could always happen sooner than that. Just another reason to cherish every moment and make the best of it to be able to bring more to Christ.

God will bring this world to an end at the moment He has chosen. Until then, the point of watching for His coming is so that a person will not be caught unawares if Christ comes during that person's life time.
