Did I say something to offend you? Or portray an offensive attitude?
At Jesus' incarnation, the Arians asserted that the divine quality of the Son, the Logos, took the place of the human and spiritual aspect of Jesus, thereby denying the full and complete incarnation of God the Son, second person of the Trinity.
In asserting that Christ the Son, as a created thing, was to be worshipped, the Arians were advocating idolatry - more so, they were borderline polytheistic.
One assertion can be reasonably debated. An essay length screed of vile, disgusting slander, hatred and bile can only be scoffed at and dismissed.
Ive percieved none - it just didnt sound like your cup of tea
Arguing religion is like beating your head up against the wall. Eventually you may knock a hole through the wall, but at what expense? If you have a belief in God, I am happy for you. If you haven’t noticed, the country was built on a belief in a supreme being, but not one particular religion. Mormons worship using their God given freedom as it appears that you do. Putting forth this hatred isn’t Christ like nor is it doing anything except making a few disgruntled people feel better about themselves. Time for “Christians” to listen to the words of Christ. Too many hypocrits in the churches today. No one is taking the time to follow the Lord. They are too busy beating up other religions at the cost of disproving their faith. May God bless you in your worthy endeavors.
Since this is an OPEN thread:
Is is just me or is there far too much LDS posting going on.
Open for discussion.

LOL
Only evangelical churches are seeing their numbers grow.
The exception is the mormons.
the great virtue of the mormons is that they have figured out how to compensate with genius organization what they lack in great theology.

Oh, I dunno..
“Organizing” dead people onto the rolls as new members doesnt take a lot of smarts..
Just subterfuge
Well, you are obviously not a Christian gentleman..
You do talk like a disrespectful mormon guy though..
The ill manners are inbred and doctrinal...
It appears that the "freedom of speech for me but not for thee" folks are all heated up about opposition again to false religion.
In my opinion, enclosing the word "Christian" in quotes and then bemoaning "hypocrits in the churches" does little to advance the Christian cause .
One who accuses others of "putting forth this hatred" appears to me to show a judgemental bent...which isn't Christ-like.
The Religion Moderator generally doesn’t like such language on this forum.
But who know, maybe he/she is bending the rules for this too.
Another Mormon n00b. Surprise, surprise!
You may want to go elsewhere FRiend.
Thanks...
I asked for discussion and you told me to shush up.
Oh, and then you insinuated that I was inbred.
"Foreseen and predicted" by whom, and where?
One wonders why Jesus even bothered, when his work was so thoroughly corrupted before the Apostles' bodies had even cooled off. What a failure!
The idea of a universal apostasy makes the whole of the Gospels into the ravings of a deluded idiot ("I will be with you always ... I will send the Paraclete, who will lead you to all truth ... I will not leave you orphans ... upon this rock I will found my church ..."), which I suppose is exactly the point.
Signed up just to chastize me...I feel so “speshul”.
Thanks for the comment, though it implies that I am ‘hot’ or upset.
I am not. I am cool and collected.
I do stand my ground when I feel I need to.
My best,
Leo
FWIW, this is not the smokey backroom, utilizing terms such as *p yours in response to a jokingly made remark is not acceptable here. As such you are picking the wrong ground to stand on and should cool it as suggested.
