I think you are reading things into it.

I said ‘age of accountability’ I don’t know that that phrase was used in any of the media. It was my interpretation of what was described.

The “anybody who believes in God’ is an over simplification. He didn’t spell it out and I didn’t either. I don’t know precisely that would entail from God’s perspective.

Scripture says quite plainly that those who call on the Name of The Lord shall be saved.

There is the whole rest of Scripture to compare with that.

However, I’m convinced that God’s nature is such that He’s looking for Biblical excuse to save people, not Biblical excuse to damn them.

Regardless . . . you are certainly free to think what you will.

Don’t forget, Christ said all who call “Lord, Lord” will not be saved. Yes God wants to save people, through Christ Jesus. Accept that fact, and you are a changed person, saved and free.
