Since this is another open thread and it's a thread about the Roman Catholic church set against evangelical churches, it's pertinent to know who bows to what.
So let's ask the question here on this RC thread.
Do you bow to Mary or saints, Judith Anne?
That game, and the program that goes with it, have been well elucidated on this thread already.
I won’t be playing.
A Catholic will say that he or she genuflects to God the Son - Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament. Protestants worship pieces of paper. They pretend to justify it by saying the Bible is the Word of God, but they worship it and not God. I’ve seen too many of them who can’t function without their Bibles in their hands. Which leads me to believe they’ve turned pieces of paper into their idol.
There. How does it feel to be deliberately misunderstood?

Wow. I could have sworn this thread was a new Catholic asking what books he should read to deepen his his Catholic faith / help in his initiation.
The only "confusion" is from Protestants who constantly obfuscate the issue. Catholic teaching is pellucidly clear---one WORSHIPS only God (Father, Christ, and Holy Spirit)---any other entity (Mary, saints, your grandfather) gets "veneration/respect". The formal terms are "latria" and "dulia".
But the Protestant camp keeps trying to foist the old "Catholics worship Mary" canard at every opportunity.
