Paul did not embrace Gentile religious culture nor did he befriend unsaved Gentiles in fashion he instructs Christians to befriend one another - accepting in Christ. Close fellowship and acceptance of the world is sin. Read carefully the Scriptures - friendship with the world is sin.

How sad. Indeed. It's one thing when you decide to ignore a thread - but making a public spectacle out of that decision, so all the world can see? That's another thing entirely.
