From the time Jerome translated the Vulgate to the time Gutenberg printed his first Bible (again, a Vulgate)--roughly 1050 years--you are claiming that it was Greek Orthodox monks who did all the recopying and preservation of the New Testament?Check your history. The New Testament was written in Greek not Latin.

Check my post. I never said the New Testament was written in Latin. I specifically said it was translated into Latin by Jerome.

Check your history. The New Testament was written in Greek not Latin. It's really something if you look at the time line. The printing press is created. Constantinople falls to the muslims. The Greeks flee with as many manuscripts as they can. The Greek manuscripts begin to be published and translated. People see the grievous error of the dominant Roman church and we have a Reformation.
Praise the Lord.
