Your interpretation of Matt 16:18 is the product of warped group think by a bunch of self interested dead men. Do RCs never get tired of regurgitating Rome’s lies?
St. Irenaeus, St. Athanasius, St. John Chrysostom, St. Peter, St. Paul, St. John, Martin Luther, St. Thomas Aquinas, et cetera ad infinitum.
All of them wrong, latest upstart storefront splinter group, right.
LOL
Don’t know about them folks except for Peter, Paul, and John - none of whom published anything that promotes the RCC fairy tales regarding Mary worship (deny it though the RCC does).
Thanks for the back -up, None so blind as those that will not see and them that have their ups up their rectums
You were speaking of Matthew 16:18. You’re changing it now to false charges of “Mary worship?”
The Catholic Church does not teach Mary worship. It specifically rejects it. Claims to the contrary are false witness.
“I read the Scripture and understand what it says -...”
In your own private views, sure. Your wilful blindness to the truth is evident to the rest of us though. Good luck.
THAT makes all CATHOLICS.....JEWS?
“For the fact that reformed teaching repudiates the pagan Mary worship that the RCC “
AH REALLY? Try to say to Samir GEAGEA (lebanese forces)

THESE are “PAGAN WORSHIPPING” manifestations...
THE GOOD MAN WILL SHOOT YOU (probably).....
Manfred, my friend. Whatever you are reading and interpreting that allows you to have those reactions to fellow Chistians concerns me. The same way Rev. Wright, is wrong to me. I would suggest more of the New Testament as opposed to the Old. I pray that Jesus’ love and understanding blesses you.
I thank you for your kind words. I’m curious: what makes you think I spend more time in the OT than the NT?
Bear in mind that not who claim to be Christians are in Christ. Jeremiah Wright and Benny Hinn both claim to be Christians but both proclaim outrageous lies about what the Bible teaches.
To truly be a Christian, one must believe in the Biblical Christ - alone - for salvation. Doctrine that teaches people to work for salvation is heresy - as was demonstrated when Paul rebuked Jewish leaders for requiring works of the law for salvation (Romans 2:17 - 29).
The New Testament clearly shows a pattern given by Christ and His apostles: give the law to the proud, to reveal his sin; give grace to humble, as he is aware of his sin.
People who are prideful about their religious requirements of faith inherently disdain the Biblical message of grace.
