It would perhaps be more forthcoming if you stated in the very beginning that you are a professional Catholic Apologist without one ounce of objectivity.

The following statement is rediculous, impossible, and untrue. It would not be made by one who has any interest whatsoever in honest dialogue.

"I think it is more that it is amazing the confusion that has been caused by the thousands of quarelling Protestant groups, none of which, Doctrinally and Theologically agree on anything."

I ran away from such hate filled beliefs. I put my trust in God and God alone.

Quote all the Church Fathers you wish. Quote the various Apologetics. Quote anything you wish. You are still basing all your beliefs on men.

In the final analysis I wish you would simply admit right up front you have no objectivity whatsoever.

Could you link me to the post when you admitted you had no objectivity whatsoever?

I am not being paid for anything. I am a 42 year old Associate Professor, with a Ph.D., at a major University in the U.S., and not in Philosopy or Religous Studies, or History. I teach in a Business School. Classes are over and I do not teach summer school, so I do have lots of free time on my hand for the rest of the summer. I will admit that I have 3-years of Religous Education through a Benedictine Seminary, which is used by Dioceses in my state and which is used for men seeking the Permanent Diaconate for my local Diocese. Accordingly, I am a certified catechist in my Diocese and work in Religous education at my local parish, particularly in RCIA.

So, if you want to continue to say I am a “paid Catholic Apologists”, that is your right, but I am not. I am a lay Catholic, who loves the Trinity, loves Christ and loves the Catholic Church, for the Truths that it teaches. As one of the Church Fathers stated (off the top of my head, I think it was St. Cyprian of Carthage, and I am paraphrasing), “the person who wants God as his Father can’t fully do so without the Church as his Mother”

Regards old Reggie and I am hoping you will be like the Prodigal son and return home before you pass one.

What difference would that make?
