I have been to the outpouring in Lakeland twice with my family. I was wondering if any other Freepers have been as well. We went when it was still in Ignited Church which holds 700. It has moved to a church in Auburndale that holds 3,000, they then moved it to the Lakeland Convention Center that holds 9,000 and then to Lakeland Tigers Baseball stadium that holds nearly 12,000. Tonight it will be at Lakeland/Linder Airport, Sun and Fun Grounds. We have seen lots of healings and miracles. It has been going on for over 35 days and will be at the convention center for at least another 14 days.

I do not know, I live over 3 hours away and I hve never been to the airport
As a doc, when I hear of “healing and miracles” I think of snake oil salesmen...
the important thing is if the people going there come back full of love of God and neighbor...

One of the problem of gifts is pride...and if you seek power without humility, the result can be demonic.
I once went to an “intercessor” conference, and found the entire conference was how to put yourself under the Lord and learn to pray...learning to be God’s servant. That is the way to serve God, not seeking occult like gifts. If you are a prayer warrior, and the gifts are given to you, they come without asking...and even then, you need a seasoned pastor to check you are not fooling yourself...(this is called discernment).
seeking power is not how one serves the Lord...the battle is the Lord’s, not ours.
I know people going ....I would like to too....asking God starting today.
The church in North America needs revival.........may this breakout all over.

Yep how evil this Todd Bentley is......he spends hours everyday alone with the Lord and has for years. Geez what a sin.......he may be different from the regular North American Christian and so would you be if you spent as much time with God daily.
These so called lighthouse people offer no proof and I have no interest in their religious bigotry.
I have zero interest in debating with the accusers of the brethren either...ZERO!
The church in North America is a failure for the most part. And I am not saying all Christians in North America are failures in God’s Kingdom. God and His gifts are still available and can be seen all the time were the church real such as China....and we need God and His power here. The religion of men is useless and it is those religious that always are available to accuse God’s leaders who are bringing the things of God to this dying wasteland.
But many will keep on the same path doing nothing really for the kingdom other than to pat themselves on the back and attack God. Make no mistake when you attack God’s people who are being used by God you are attacking God. Repent or let God Himself deal with you.

I apologize for my bluntness but I am tired of attacks on God every time He does something here by those that perpetuate the failure of the existing North American church.

I lived in Lakeland in 1969. In June and July, before we left, it was very humid, almost unbearable outside during the day. Good luck and bring plenty of water. Thunderstorms almost every afternoon. Dries up in 20 minutes.
God bless you for your bold defense of the brethren. There have been 13 people raised from the dead. One was featured on Good Morning America. This is an awesome display of the soverign power of GOD. Please pray that my wife and I can go..we need the anointing so. God bless you.
