No...I mean, some who speak here want to show how nice they are and how they are just like everyone else, but they do it to put forth the fact that they are Mormons, not to just be nice people with good values, but to promote the ism of that which they are in.
It’s a pride thing, an identity with that which one thinks identifies the person’s whole reason for existence.
My identity and pride is in Jesus, who is YHWH come in flesh as my Redeemer/Kinsman. I do not take pride in anything else but I glory in Him and in His name.
Did you ever stop to think that maybe that is just who Mormons are? I mean, I can remember criticizing Mormons as Stepford wives because they were always so nice and sweet and compliant, and good housewives, too. I think that some people here, because they disagree on matters of faith, have been way too hard on Mormons. Maybe they are just genuinely NICE people.
