There is no other head of the Church but the Lord Jesus Christ.[13] Nor can the Pope of Rome, in any sense, be head thereof; but is that Antichrist, that man of sin, and son of perdition, that exalts himself, in the Church, against Christ and all that is called God.[14]
All in good time. It’s going to be awhile before we reach Chapter 25; why don’t you have a seat and order something?
Interesting that the Presbyterians have a confession of faith that references the Catholic Church.
Alex - do you really believe the Pope is the Antichrist?
I’ll give you the benefit of the doubt, and assume that your post is based in ignorance, rather than malice. Since this thread is about the Orthodox Presbyterian Church, and it’s Confession, I’ll quote Chapter 25, Paragraph 6 of its Confession, in full:
“6. There is no other head of the church but the Lord Jesus Christ. Nor can the pope of Rome, in any sense, be head thereof.”
Doesn’t quite match your post, does it?
