No, no, no....when Father got theoretical, he said we were on the skin of an orange gradually getting smaller and smaller.
Actually, he was using it to describe the expanding universe, but to the math challenged at 9yo, it sounded like a giant orange.
Or maybe that was James and the Giant Peach.

That galaxy is lucky that I don’t want to wear an earring, at least until I become a pirate.
