Because there are revivals going on in both cities and have been for years. Some people believe they’re of the devil, but I’ve been to Toronto and it’s the real thing. Many lives have been changed -for the better-very interesting.
It’s a tiny galaxy, filled with planets populated by people like us.
And our galaxy is just a little lump in the earlobe of some giant being...
Uh, satan??? He’s the great counterfeiter.
God must have some sense of humor ... the conclusion of all Biblical prophesy looks like a b-grade alien invasion movie? Are we sure that the apocolypse won’t begin with Godzilla attacking Tokyo?
I was always taught that Satan was a fallen angel, not God's peer. Are you suggesting he has the same power as the Almighty?
My sentiments exactly—smile. Look at our elections...
“And our galaxy is just a little lump in the earlobe of some giant being...”
No, no, no....when Father got theoretical, he said we were on the skin of an orange gradually getting smaller and smaller.
Actually, he was using it to describe the expanding universe, but to the math challenged at 9yo, it sounded like a giant orange.
Or maybe that was James and the Giant Peach.
"You speak of the Universe. Have you seen it? Who has it?"
Got it. Maryxxx
Which ones are the reformed links?
Ah, sola scriptures. The only way to go...
You said: Which ones are the reformed links?
Well since the claim of “reformed” is not very well defined, I would say since all of them fall outside the claims of Catholicism or Orthodoxy, they therefore fall in the “personal interpretation” of Holy Scripture category. However erroneous they may be, they are of the reformed mindset.
Your fellow reformed, Quix, would agree with my assertion.
That galaxy is lucky that I don’t want to wear an earring, at least until I become a pirate.
Pot, meet kettle....

As evidenced by the links at post #16

No. I reject sola scriptura so I could not be leading anyone into protestant error.
None of us has the real answers to any of this.
No, he counterfeits God’s abilities. Whatever he touches is false, but he keeps on a tryin’.

Wrong. The Catholic Church does.
