1. The observation of natural phenomena and their examination leads the the articulation of a conjecture.
2. The conjecture is analyzed and it or a portion of it is formulated in such a way that it can be tested by observation.
3. Observations are carried out, or, if the phenomena are of a convenient kind, experiments are designed to produce date with will confirm or refute the conjecture.
4. Conjectures which consistently are verified by observation or experiment are considered and that consideration is added to the pool of information which prompts further conjectures.

An field of empirical science is the attempt to articulate a theory which is sufficiently general as to account for all observations.

It doesn’t matter what kind of science it is, God is the author of it all, unless you don’t believe in God, and then He’s the author of nothing, because He doesn’t exist.
