“Crisis Magazine” , before it ceased publishing and went on-line exclusively, had a yearly exhaustive analysis of vocations and "State of Being" for each diocese. The more orthodox a diocese the better the diocese did with number of vocations. The data is now provided on the Inside Catholic website.
The logic provided by the one who alleges her poll validates the contention for woman priests is terminally flawed. These polls just mention Catholics favor this or that. However, looking behind the statistics, one must differentiate between the Catholics who regularly attend Mass and those who attend occasionally. You would notice a world of difference in the opinions of these two groups. Yet, the dissemination of this propaganda rarely demonstrates the intellectually honesty of making such a distinction

Thanks for the info! I didn't know about the Inside Catholic site, but it looks extremely useful.

Of course, re polls, we all know how easy it is for the pollster to manipulate them, and how often none of the choice of answers provided seems to fit. And mostly a "yeah, I guess so, but I don't know (or care) much" has the same weight as "Yes, I would fight to the death for it!"
