Like evolution theory, religion can be used to separate “us” from “them”. Once this is done, it becomes Ubermensch vs Untermensch (Nietzsche) or Believer vs Infidel and evil people use these artificial differences for murder. Darwin didn't kill anyone and didn't advocate killing anyone. Neither did Jesus. Evil does evil and they will always find a justification. The Nazis chose themselves as the master race absent any objective proof, just like every religion thinks they are the true religion. Science is a tool just like guns. Guns don't kill people; people kill people

Actually, I pretty much agree with you there in general terms. However, the horrific crimes justified by Darwinism are far larger in magnitude and are much more recent than any such crimes that were ever justified by Christianity. Had Christianity been used to justify anything like what the Nazis or communists did, and as recently as they did it, the “secular progressives” would be screaming to the rooftops about it — and using it to denounce Christianity — not trying to downplay it. It’s a double standard on their part.
