aside from the Biblical obligation is an obligaton to decency and common-sense.
Who can’t see that Israel is the aggreved in this situation?

I agree they are aggrieved. I agree we need to support them. But don't try to tell me it's in our best self interest to do it. It is a pure sacrifice on our part. And Jews had better accept that.

Personally, I think that’s a pretty good reason. Works for me.

Let's see -stand up for God's chosen people or let them be run over by the Muslims? Can I get back to you later on my answer?

It is a pure sacrifice on our part. And Jews had better accept that. Or else what? Since its Biblical that God blesses those whom bless Israel maybe you, as an american citizen, shouldn't be so quick to threaten.
To: DManA
I agree. It is hardly in our self-interest.

What threat?"Jews had better accept that"? ...I dunno, sounded like some kind of threat. Maybe it wasn't. If not, I apologize.

Yes, Christians are most of all, sane!
In the world there are 12.9 million Jews and 1.48 billion Muslims (25% of the world population).
The 22 Arab countries in the Middle East and Africa have a land area 640 times larger than Israel.
Israel is surrounded by 270 million Muslims including 1.2 million Muslims who live peacefully and in peace in Israel.
There are 1.1 million Jews in Europe compared to 44.1 million Muslims.
Israel land area: 8,000 sq miles.
Muslim land area: 5,120,000 sq miles.

The Jews I know, my wife, father in law, mother in law, brother in law, sister on law and assorted aunts, uncles and cousins are not all that fond of the Christian view as to why the U.S. should support Israel. Instead, they view the relationship as one based on the strategy of U.S. foreign policy in the region.
