You mean the guys(apostles) that argued among themselves (in Jesus presence) who would be greatest in heaven?.. Those guys?..
Obviously they missed much of what Jesus taught.. Jesus must have been rolling his eyes over that event.. You know when he grabed a little child and said, UNLESS they become as one of THESE they would never even SEE heaven..
Don’t be so hard on them. I doubt any of us would have done any better. They turned out okay in the end. Hopefully we will too!
and you are sidestepping the issue. the writers of the gospels and the rest of the nt could read and write, and were guided by the HS in picking their successors....who also were able to write and converse and teach as Christ instructed them to do, as the successors to the apostles and they did just that, and were doing fine up until the time of the deformation.
