Open threads will be robust, offensive even, because they are like a town square. There is no "official" religion on this forum - expect beliefs and beloved religious figures and authorities to be demeaned.
Look at the bright side. At least it is not an arena filled with hungry lions.
Posters who cannot deal with the heat of open threads should stay on the closed threads - the devotionals, prayer threads and caucuses.
