What an extraordinary Vigil Mass last night! 7 Catechumens were received into the Catholic Church including Magdi Allam, a prominent Italian Muslim journalist. And if you watched the service, you may have noticed that Pope Benedict XVI distributed communion by intinction (dipping the host into the Precious Blood). He was no doubt making a strong statement through his actions.
A Blessed Easter to you all!
A Blessed Happy Easter to you!
I was at my parish church last night for its celibration of the Easter Vigil, there was one man baptized, confirmed, and received Holy Communion. It was wonderful for him, his family, and my parish.

I do rejoice that a former Muslim has come to full faith in Christ last night. That is indeed a miracle of God. Also it would not be suprising that Pope Benedict did the communion by intinction because he is reminding the faithful that besides the Latin rite there are Eastern rites that do just that when distributing Holy Communion at the Divine Liturgies. Also serves as a prayer for the Church, both Eastern and Western.
We had a wonderful Vigil last night (albeit the abridged version, only 3 OT, not 7). We has 3 baptisms and then 9 confirmations. Not bad for Alaska. God Bless you. Alleluia, He is Risen.
Yes, I noticed that immediately. Little by little Benedict XVI is bringing the liturgy back on track. Leading by example.
