Not that excuses an individuals shortcomings, but did any Christian Churches really step up to stop the Nazis?

I really don't know, dear brother in Christ! I'm not well read on the subject.

At the same time, even if the institutions and churches and assemblies failed - I'm sure God had a remnant standing in faith despite the world around them.
