I think arguments claiming Hitler comes from Luther also totally miss the forced Prussian Union between the Lutheran and Reformed churches.

It is a very good point, but one that is very “inside baseball” to many Catholic Freepers.

The man that forced the Prussian Union by the force of law was a very twisted individual. Fredrick had some rather occultic tastes (which seemed to be a family trait), and was really more interested in astrology than Christianity.

As an aside, the Prussian Union was one reason my family came to the US.
