He will protect His own. What concerns me MORE is Bible based Christianity being watered down and disappearing from our society, It is lack of BELIEF that I am more concerned about as we “Slouch towards Gomorrah”.

Great points. Thanks.

“If you're a born again Christian, and there is no other kind, neither of us will be here when AntiChrist is revealed so we don't have to worry about the “mark”. And neither will the saved midtribbers and postribbers who think we will all be here unless we die first.”

Exactly! I don't know about the midtribbers or postribbers ... it will depend on their faith but as a Pretribber, I don't give “the mark” a second thought. It will happen but I am confident I and other loved ones will NOT be here.

“The mark of the Beast would not be on my “things to worry about” list if I had such a list, which of course I don't. Why worry and make yourself miserable when you can trust God to ALWAYS do what is best for you in every situation whether you realize it at the time or not?”

I agree. It doesn't even make “my list”. It actually makes Christians look paranoid. They claim to have “faith” but fret and worry over “the mark”. It makes one wonder about their “faith”.

However, it seems reasonable to me that an administration which would have a “bone to pick” with fundamentalist Christians [Clinton or Obama] would also be looking for Christian keywords or phrases under the pretext of preventing another Timothy McVeigh. And from that, it would be only a short step to an international clampdown on Christianity at large.

= =

INDEED.

And many ‘in the know’ have insisted for a long time that such a script has been on the books for many years, if not decades. I believe, for decades.

If by chiliasm you mean the doctrine that Christ will reign for 1000 years, whatever, it has nothing to do with what the bible actually says.

1 Corinthians 10:13.

There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way of escape that ye may be able to bear it.

There is no need to fret about “the mark”. It’s not God who tempts us and God will never not give you a way out of ANY temptation. To believe this requires FAITH. If that is not present, then folks will fret.

My Direct has been not hooked to phone for over 8 months and still works

Mine has never been connected to the phone line and it has worked since day one. I bought the Direct equipment online and installed it myself. Worked like a charm until a tree branch fell on the dish. Direct sent me new dish free and it's back in working order again.

The only thing I don't like about TV whether it's comes through a dish, a cable, or an antenna, is that there is very little worth watching no matter how many dishes, cables, or antennas you have or how many channels you buy. I wouldn't trade the internet for all the TV channels on the frequency bands.

"...What concerns me MORE is Bible based Christianity being watered down and disappearing .."

And what you define as "Bible-based Christianity", is a literal, fundamentalist, Dispensationalist interpretation of Scripture.

That dog won't hunt with the vast majority of Christians.

Try opening up the box, and locating a microphone. Besides not being there, it would be very difficult in the least, to hear a conversation over the tv volume itself, as the box is usually close to the tv.

Yes, cell phones can be used to track people, providing the battery is in it.

Black ops folks can do most of what you believe, but there has to be a very strong reason, as their assets are not unlimited.

Your "vast majority of Christians" don't read the bible. Most of them think they know what it says, but they don't. Ever talk to any of them, lol.

So how exactly do you believe?

This is true ... Bible based Christianity is more often than not REJECTED. We can see where rejection of God’s Word has done to our society.

This too is also prophisized:

2Tim.4:3

[3] For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;

People will believe nearly anything since they don’t KNOW what the Bible states. They prefer to listen to others with an agenda and REJECT the Bible. They’d rather take the word of FALLIBLE man over INFALLIBLE God.

I find the Bible to be a comfort. It’s easy to discern the false prophets and know what to expect in these times.
