Youre getting lost in semantics there. Yes, of course we agree with you that the Church is the Body of Christ (which is very different from your other definition of just people). But a church, meaning the building wherein Mass is celebrated, is not just a building as your church is, because its formally consecrated; it is a sacred space containing the Blessed Sacrament (see scripture, last supper - sorry we Catholics dont bother to memorize chapter and verse, we know the stories well enough).But your stories are not the chapter and verse stories...There's no such thing in the New Testament as a consecrated, sacred church building...That's my point...Your sacred church building has nothing to do with the church of Jesus Christ...
