Christ never says we are to flee to Petra. He says:
Mar 13:14 But when ye shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing where it ought not, let (him that readeth understand,) then let them that be in Judea flee to the mountains:
He says that when we see the abomination of desolation IF we happen to be in Judea we should flee to the mountains. This prophecy isn't just for Jews.
Mar 13:26 And then shall they see the Son of man coming in the clouds with great power and glory.
Mar 13:27 And then shall he send his angels, and shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from the uttermost part of the earth to the uttermost part of heaven.
Christ's follower won't all be in Israel. Rather we'll be scattered all over the earth.
Oh, and the "rapture" theory, or a secret coming of Christ before he returns, is unbiblical. The return of Christ will be visible, unmistakable and a one time only event.

That was my whole point. No secrets, no signs, just simple plain speaking says what He means, means what He says theology.
And believe me... when He shouts and the Trump sounds and we are all caught up, that won’t be a secret either.
