“I am a christian, and belong to no particular denomination. I go by the salvation of the Bible that doesn’t mention Joseph Smith anywhere.”

The Bible doesn’t mention the word “Trinity”, nor its concept either. This doctrine was enacted by church leaders 200 years after the death of Christ at the Council of Nicea. And yet most churches consider it Gospel.

People have all kinds of reasons for believing what they do.

The term may not be in the bible, but the CONCEPT definitely is.

Re. The Bible doesn’t mention the word “Trinity”

The Bible doesn't mention many other theological terms, but that does not meant these terms are not biblical.

For centuries, Christians have coined terms which summarize and/or explain certain biblical concepts. The word Trinity is one example. You can find several others by examining a good glossary of Christian terms, such as the one found HERE.

Re. The Bible doesn't mention the concept of the Trinity either.

The doctrine of the Trinity is found in numerous places throughout scripture. The teaching is so unequivocal every Christian denomination, Protestant, Catholic and Orthodox, accepts the Trinity as a fundamental tenet.

There are many excellent references which address this topic. I recommend you start HERE.

Re. This doctrine was enacted by church leaders 200 years after the death of Christ at the Council of Nicea.

This doctrine was proclaimed by the Bible centuries before the birth of Christ. It was taught and affirmed throughout the New Testament. It was practiced by the Body of Christ 200 years prior to the Council of Nicea.

Re. Yet most churches consider it Gospel.

According to every Christian sect, the term Gospel refers to the first four books of the New Testament.

As noted above, every Christian sect supports the doctrine of the Holy Trinity.
