Hope your dad is still with you and I am glad he is doing good with his diabetes.

Things have changed so much in how one counts their food now.

No, unfortunately he died from his cancer...but I was luckily able to care for him at his home, until the day he died...and that was a true blessing to be with him, and care for him at that time...my dear hubby took over all of my duties at home, cared for the house, our younger son, and still worked his full time job, while being both mom and dad, homemaker and wage earner...it was difficult, of course, but since my dad lived in a state other than my own, I needed a strong hubby to back me up which he willingly did...

So tho I lost Dad, way too soon, I was privileged to be able to care for him in his last months of life...for that, I am forever grateful...
