Each book is a book unto itsself in the Bible.
BTW Book of Revelation was not John last book

Deuteronomy 4
2 Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the Lord your God which I command you.
So why did Joe Smith change the Book of Revelations?

Many theologians have argued that point for many hundreds of years.
I don’t wish to enter into a discussion about something that those who have much more background and schooling (than I), cannot agree.
But, I do appreciate your points.
But resty - smittie did fall within the prohibition of Revelation when he modified it as apart of the (proto-canonized) JST (aka IV). As such, he is properly condemned by God.
