Even simple plain reading of the Bible, often produces many different views...this is the case with both transubstantiation, and regarding the founding of the church upon Peter...those are very simple readings, from which whole great big discussions take place...
When we pray we are talking to God, and when we read the scriptures the Lord is talking to us.
1- If we are in a humble place the Holy Spirit is able to help us in personal matters in decision making. (of the Lord does show up in other means to)
2- I find and I am sure many when reading passages we have been familiar with that when growth has taken place in us we see things we have not noticed before, it is a joy.
3- The Lord’s commandments and doctrine are consistent.
I am sure there is more but I am wrestling with blood sugar:)
Indeed. On this very topic, here’s a prime example.
