“Christian” isn’t a denomination or a particular church. It is a description of denominations that believe in Christ. Your analogy doesn’t work.
Being Christian is believing in a particular Christ.
The Christian religion share the belief in the same particular Christ.
The Mormons do not.
Ergo.....they are not Christian, by definition.
Suffice it to say that Mormons are not "true Christians."
Nope, it is a belief in all of the revealed Truth that He taught. That creates a problem for the LDS as they claim to be the ONLY repository of such knowledge and place themselves, therefore, at odds with all of Christendom.

Oh but it does. There isn’t a single denomination of the body of the Christian church that accepts Mormon doctrine as anything but a fraud. So the body of Christianity rejects Mormonism, just as LDS reject FLDS. Where we differ is that you will claim the body of Christianity has no right to reject LDS, but LDS can reject FLDS. Cognitive discontinuity anyone?
