It’s a question worth thinking about because in John 6 which is quoted so often Jesus says that the body [flesh] that came down from heaven is the bread of life that He gives for the sins of the world — not His resurrected body.

GOsh, I think there are a bunch of statements to hack through:
6:35 -I am the bread of life;
:38 -... I have come down from heaven ....
:48 -I am the bread of life.
:51 -I am the living bread which came down from heaven ...

What verse are you referring to? Thanks for pointing it out, anyway.
