I stand by it. One cannot be saved by a gospel preached by a false prophet. If you believe that Smith was false, you therefore must believe that the Gospel he preached was false. Therefore, you cannot be saved by it. The logical reordering of this is that you must accept Smith as a prophet in order to be saved.

Too bad there are any alternatives, isn’t it? But, the good news is, you have a second chance after this life. So don’t be too hard on yourself, MHG.

As I’ve said before, I gladly own what I actually believe, and am content at being beaten over the head with it. This is one such example.
