- Because the fullness of the Gospel was restored through Joseph Smith, and because one must accept the fullness of the Gospel (whether in this life or the next) in order to receive salvation, one must therefore accept Joseph Smith as a prophet in order to receive salvation.

- Salvation comes only in and through Jesus Christ. We are saved by His Grace.

WAIT!!!

You just said....I have to accept J. Smith as a prophet to get saved.....BUT then you say salvation only comes through Jesus.

WHICH IS IT!!!???

Does the word "only" mean something else to you Tant?

And you wonder why Christians don't "buy" mormonism?????

Osage, why are you being deliberately thick?

I said that one must accept Smith as a prophet to be saved by the Gospel which was restored through him.

I said that one is saved only through the Grace of Christ.

The two statements are in no way contradictory.

The fact that Smith restored the Gospel does not make him a source of Grace. I never intimated such a thing, and the fact that you have accused me of doing so is a demonstration of blatant misrepresentation on your part.

One more example of how the anti-Mormon twists LDS doctrine to suit his own purposes.
