I love this guy.
The morning following his election, the hosts of a local radio station referred to him as an "interim pope" and then proceded to bash the Church for picking such an old man. That comment bore a hole in my heart. It was one more example of how ignorant people mislead others.
Benedict XVI is truly the right man for this age. I pray he lives a very long life. In the meantime, I will continue to devour his writings and teachings. At a time when our senses are assaulted from all directions by conflicting messages, Pope Benedict XVI's words are like the rudder that steers the ship through troubled waters.
