Christ says that He will heal our hearts, not give us new ones. He came to restore, not to re-create. You need to read the New Testament if you consider yourself a Christian. Is Ezekiel right and Christ is wrong? Where does the Bible say that He will heal a heart INSTEAD OF giving a new one for salvation purposes? Ezekiel 36 is talking about God transforming a non-believer into a believer. And while God certainly heals hearts, He heals believing hearts. We still go astray from time to time as believers and need healing, but that is very different from being transformed from completely lost to completely saved.
