I found sone writings from the early Church Fathers on this as well... Excellent find, STA. It reminds us of the mindset of the early Church, and it reveals to us how little Orthodoxy has changed. When you step into an Orthodox church (and I don't mean some OCA ones), you step into a timless bubble.

Now, if we can get EO’s to allow their members to receive Eucharist in the Latin Church and get the swiss guard to hide Pope Benedict's razors or convince the Holy Father to grow a beard, we will be one more step closer to being fully united! -;)
