So, using whatever text appeals to you, what's your take on the Sermon on the Mount? Was Jesus speaking only to the apostles, or to the gathered multitudes, some of whom were wearing long skirts?

I kind of like Prophet Steven Wright’s take on it.
“So what if the meek inherit the earth.
We’ll just take it back...bunch of meeks.”
Heavy, really heavy!
I always thought he spoke to a large crowd. The scripture I was reading yesterday though didn’t indicate that, but of course, it might be hard to know for sure.
