Nevertheless, she considers herself "Catholic" - as many of the other New Agers consider themselves to be "Jewish" or "Baptist" or whatever.

That is the point. The New Age Movement has no holy writ, no organization - it is a subtext to whatever else a person claims to be "true."

However, the common thread as far as I can see is a belief in a "god"-like cosmic consciousness of which each is a part. And that belief would be anti-Christ and anti-God.

Quite so.

And the ‘god-like’ cosmic consciousness issue is even being trumpeted by physicists with a NEW AGE bent . . .

and various UFO gurus are hailing the LIGHT BEARERS etc. etc. etc. increasingly . . .

Even URANTIA is getting more press and attention.

People seem unable to imagine a day when ALMOST ALL ONE’S ASSOCIATES AND EXTENDED RELATIVES are celebrating the NEW AGE of PEACE AND BROTHERHOOD around a FALSE MESSIAH.

If anything The Obumma candidacy and the throngs clammering for him should give folks pause about at least the gullibility of the masses . . . and to often . . . of the one in our mirrors.
