The only practice labeled as demonic - on this thread - to the best of my knowledge, is the that of people worshiping idols, as was described by Randall as taking place in various public areas in Mexico City during his recent visit.

On the contrary . . . to the degree the demonic is involved, it is the most loving thing to exhort accordingly . . . sometimes fairly fiercely.

Having been on both ends of such exhortations, I still firmly assert that it’s true and Biblically true, as well.

Oh Really!!! So just when is telling the truth to someone a violation of any commandment??? Is bearing false witness and promoting a pagan rituals as acceptable Christian practices an act of love in your church??? Perhaps you should meditate upon the following:

"Love rejoices not in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth." [I Corinthians 13:6]

"A lying tongue hates those who are afflicted by it, and a flattering mouth works ruin" [Proverbs 26:28]

Where there is no truth there is no love, and you cannot have love without the truth.

You can answer that question in truth or in love. Either way it should be the same answer.

Then I would suggest you study precisely what the Protestant church fathers had to say about the matter. They didn't seem to believe that their comments about the Catholic Church were a "noxious violation" of the 2nd commandment. And I can assure you they had far worst things to say then what we have said.

It is rather sad that most Protestants have forgotten their roots and why they left the Catholic Church.
