That whole story has been SO overplayed. Seriously, I'm against all that junk, and even here in liberal Boston I saw little or no evidence of that.
Do we really need to play victim all the time just because someone doesn't see things our way? What is the evidence that this "taking Christmas out of the stores" was anything more than a few tiny incidents?
And frankly, isn't everyones always saying Christmas isn't about commercialism? Why aren't Christians DEMANDING their saviors name not be used to sell junk toys and that stuff?
I’d prefer not to deflect too much from the main topic of this thread, but, among other things, employees in stores were not even ALLOWED to say Merry Christmas, but after Christians protested, that has changed in many stores.
